  • What is the quality of the stones?

All our diamonds are produced in the laboratory and in Switzerland. They are exclusively of F/VVS quality. We do not work with diamonds of a lower quality.

For our coloured stones, we work with gemologists who have access to the production sites and can therefore report on the conditions of exploitation. The criteria for gemstones are significantly different from diamonds, but there are no regulated criteria as for diamonds. However, the basis is the same, i.e. colour, carat, cut quality and inclusions. We select each of our stones according to these criteria with the support of our gemologist partners.

  • Where does the gold in my jewellery come from?

Our wish is to work in a short circuit and ideally with recycled gold coming exclusively from remelted jewellery, computer components or industrial chips. Unfortunately, studies have shown that at present, recyclable gold is not perfectly traceable and that the notion of "recycled" includes gold that has been melted down in foreign countries whose origin is unknown.

This is why, for the time being, we have chosen to work with Max Havelaar gold. Although it comes from mines, this label offers us the traceability and the prospect that dignified and respectful conditions govern its exploitation. We are working with our partners to find better solutions so that we can offer you recycled and traced gold in the near future.

  • How do I take care of my jewellery?

At the end of your certificate of authenticity, you will find advice on how to take care of your jewel. And don't forget that your purchase is a delicate creation and that it needs you to take care of it by observing these few points on a daily basis:

    • Remove your jewellery when washing your hands, applying perfume or using a cream. The same goes for sports, beach and swimming activities.
    • Repeated contact with detergents or corrosives can damage gold.
    • Protect your jewellery from shocks that can scratch the gold and damage the claws of the settings.
    • When you are not wearing your jewellery, store it in its pouch. Jewellery can become scratched if it comes into contact with other jewellery. We advise you to put only one piece of jewellery in each bag and remember to close the necklace and bracelet to prevent knots from forming.

And if after some time you notice that your jewel is getting dull, we advise you to clean it gently with warm water and a neutral soap by brushing it with a small brush with soft bristles. This cleaning will remove small dirt or dust without damaging your jewel.

If, despite this cleaning, you feel that your jewellery has not regained its brilliance, we recommend that you take it to a professional.
