It's about consciously taking responsible action at every stage in the creation of a piece of jewelry, from conception to completion. Our values are embodied in our actions, our business relationships and at the heart of all our processes.

Ethics is a constant quest and cannot be achieved without ongoing commitment at every level. Guaranteed origin of our jewels, traceability of precious stones, choice and selection of raw materials based on criteria that are transparently announced and rigorously respected, collaboration with trusted partner craftsmen recognized for their know-how and ethics... Yes, eco-consciousness cannot be decreed, it must be proven by commitments.

Here are Ôkami's 5 core commitments, which are the foundation of our uniqueness and the very essence of our value proposition.

Ethical Gold

Our jewels come with a certificate that allows us to trace the gold used individually, a Fairtrade gold certified by Max Haavelar (a Swiss association for international solidarity).

Our aim: to guarantee controlled operating conditions, fair remuneration and total traceability. Fairtrade gold comes only from small-scale mines, and the people who work there receive a guaranteed minimum price. Working conditions and respect for people and the planet are at the heart of this commitment.

Laboratory diamonds

Laboratory diamonds are not a "kind" of diamond, but a diamond in their own right. Perfectly identical in composition and appearance to a mineral diamond. That's why we systematically and conscientiously choose them, with the aim of preserving natural resources. After all, it takes 100 tonnes of minerals to extract just one gram of jewellery diamond.

Guaranteed origin

Guaranteeing the traceability of each piece of jewelry requires a total commitment to quality and the monitoring of local, reasoned production. Each Ôkami jewel is individually hallmarked to authenticate the nature of its gold, as well as its provenance. The design is made in Switzerland, the craftsmen work in Switzerland, the diamonds are made in Switzerland, Ôkami jewelry is 100% Swiss made.

Transparency

Ôkami is first and foremost a collective adventure in which people who are passionate about their art and workmanship work together to bring our creations to life. Ôkami's partner craftsmen are all guardians of mastered know-how, which we aim to honor through the transparency of our processes. "It's not necessary to extinguish another's light for our own to shine", said Gandhi, a thought that sums up in a few words the state of mind that drives us and our determination to value these Swiss craftsmen of fine workmanship.
