YUKI

YUKI [SNOW]

meaning "snow" in Japanese, evokes both the silkiness the eternal snows of Mount Fuji and the tranquility of the snow-capped mountains on the shores of Lake Geneva. This collection embodies a bridge between cultures and landscapes, between Japan and Switzerland.

An enchanting tale that blends traditional craftsmanship with begins with the discovery of Les Perles de Saint-Gingolph de Saint-Gingolph, a unique artisanal know-how located on the shores of Lake Geneva. This artisanal pearl-making tradition dates back over a century and enjoyed its heyday in the 1920s. Today, revitalized by passion and a love of tradition, the the manufacturing process is still carried out by hand, with successive successive soakings of the pearls in Essence d'Orient. The quality and reputation of our pearls are due as much to the know-how and the well-kept secret of the mother-of-pearl bath formula.

We invite you to discover this manufacturing process by visiting the Perles du Lac website, www.perlesdulac.ch.
